Encryption is the process of transforming information (data) using algorithms to make it unreadable to anyone except those have key. Key is the tool to make encrypted text decrypted. For ex- whatsapp give end to end encrption in chats.

Encryption is also used to protect data at transition from hakkers and many others. But the people who have knowledge to decrypt information can broke encryption.

Decryption is the process to make the information readable.
